To export Oculus topography data, start the Oculus software which will open up the Patient Data Management screen.

Select the patient name from the Patient list and highlight the topography map you want to export. To select multiple topography maps hold the 'control' button on the keyboard while selecting the required maps. Next, click the 'Export' button.

A new window titled "Export patient data:" will open:

 1. Select the **Single file (.U12)** option.

 2. In the '_Folder:_' text box, rename the file to the patient's surname and name [_SURNAMENAME.U12_]. This naming format makes multiple patient recordkeeping easier.

 3. Click the folder button (icon with the three dots). The '_Save As_' window will open. Select the Windows folder where you want to save the .U12 export file. Click the '**Save**' button.

After saving, the Windows path to the folder with the renamed .U12 export file is displayed in the 'Folder:' text box. To complete the export process, click the 'Export' button.

The export process is now complete.
